Show Packages

Augury & Instinct

Students were tasked to craft a network-worthy show package for a fictional television series, titled either Augury or Instinct. Students were free to use any combination of found footage, compositing, 2d graphics, etc to create the look, tone, and feel for the type of show of their choice.

Tipsy Talk

In the spring of 2020, students in Motion 3 had the opportunity to work as a group and craft a graphics package to be used for CU Denver's internet web series for that year year, entitled Tipsy Talks

  • Goals:

    • Use creative license to showcase future material that can be used in portfolio

    • Explore how motion design is used in various fields aside from marketing

    • Practice with creating sustainable motion graphics packages and establishing clean project organization structure.


Event Packages

For those who did not work in a group setting for Tipsy Talk, the remaining students were tasked to work in groups of two and create a graphics package that would be used for an event of their choice - emulating a similar brand presence but with a unique concept for the event’s year.

  • Goals:

    • Explore how motion design is used in various fields aside from marketing

    • Creating new content for an established event that is both recognizable and unique

    • Heavy research into motion design trends within event spaces

    • Practice with creating sustainable motion graphics packages and establishing clean project organization structure.
