Directed by Michelle Bauer Carpenter, the documentary showcases Awadagin's journey as an African American musician and how his blackness and the recent black experience of 2020 has influenced his most recent work - Black in America.
A powerful cause with personal connections
We are honored to work alongside Michelle Bauer Carpenter for such a deep and personal cause with our team. Alongside Michelle's film and director work, we were asked to create a motion graphics package - including titles, content pieces, and end credits. The film is set to Debut end of 2022 or in early 2023, with hopes to be picked up by PBS and other broadcast networks.
